Bharath is a Principal Consultant in Salient Group’s Tech Practice, based in Singapore. A techy at heart, he started on the engineering side before moving into recruitment (which helps when conversations get technical!).
He works on engineering, data, AI and cybersecurity hiring for startups, consultancies and enterprise clients across APAC, including the public sector and financial services. He’d rather send a short, well-matched shortlist than a long list of maybes. With candidates he’s career-first, which sometimes means telling them a role isn’t the right move.
He also builds with AI, mostly small tools that take the manual work out of recruitment, and writes about AI history and the founders behind it. He hosts roundtables and community events for tech and AI leaders in Singapore too.
Away from work, he’s usually up a mountain, on a dive, or adding to a 4K film collection that’s getting out of hand.
