The company is seeking an ambitious and results-driven Country Manager to spearhead commercial expansion in key countries in ASEAN. They are looking for Country Managers for Thailand & the Philippines.

 

This leadership role demands an entrepreneurial spirit and deep expertise in client acquisition and partnership management within the CFD/FX/ financial services sector. The successful candidate will be fully accountable for formulating and executing the local business strategy, cultivating a high-performing sales team, and rapidly scaling the network of external partners to maximize market share and drive significant revenue growth.

 

This is a demanding, hands-on role that requires a blend of strategic vision, direct sales execution, and talent management.

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Planning: Design, localize, and implement a comprehensive market penetration and expansion strategy, ensuring alignment with overarching organizational objectives.
  • Business Growth: Proactively identify, prioritize, and capture new commercial opportunities to accelerate client onboarding and expand the third-party introducing partner ecosystem.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of commercial development professionals, establishing clear performance metrics (KPIs) and providing the resources needed to exceed targets.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and nurture high-value relationships with key introducers, affiliates, and strategic business partners across the region.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal teams (e.g., product development, compliance, marketing communications) to launch localized services, promotions, and campaigns.
  • Market Presence: Act as the primary representative for the organization at local industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance brand awareness and market positioning.

 

Candidate Profile

  • Experience: At least 5 of demonstrated success in a senior Commercial, Sales, or Partnership Development role within the online trading, capital markets, or financial technology (FinTech) industry.
  • Domain Expertise: Documented track record of developing and managing extensive partner/affiliate networks in the relevant country markets.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage commercial teams of a small to medium size.
