About The Role
We’re seeking Software Engineers to take ownership of the ongoing design and development of their platform, working cross-functionally. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of products within the ecosystem, enabling you to broaden your technology, product, and business skillsets. You’ll work on a diverse range of challenges as you support an award-winning team.
In This Role, You Will:
- Create and implement scalable, reusable object-oriented systems and components.
- Write clean, modular, and well-documented code for easy reuse in future projects.
- Develop web applications, middleware, and integrate third-party systems to fulfill business needs.
- Work with the team to plan, prioritize project iterations, and track progress toward objectives.
- Develop automated tests to ensure code quality and stability.
- Engage in code reviews and design discussions for new features.
- Provide ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and support for live production systems to ensure optimal performance and continuous operation.
You Might Thrive In This Role If You:
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) with Java in a highly technical environment.
- Expert in developing and consuming REST services, with proficiency in React, Angular, or Angular.js, and other MVC frameworks.
- Strong analytical and logical abilities with a deep understanding of design patterns, Java MVC frameworks, and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and concepts clearly.
- Dedicated to meeting deadlines and staying current with the latest web-scale technologies.
- Experience with Scrum or Extreme Programming project methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
