IT Specialist – Global Wealth Management Platform

Our client, a global fintech digital investment platform, is looking for a candidate with a strong technical foundation, proven leadership skills, and a keen understanding of the financial services sector.
What You’ll Do: The Impact
As an IT Specialist, you won’t just be maintaining systems—you’ll be strategically building and securing the infrastructure that powers our brokerage platform.
You will:
- Design, implement, and manage corporate
- Take ownership of IT security and compliance protocols (e.g., regulatory requirements specific to FinTech in Canada), ensuring our environment is robust and meets all industry standards.
- Drive IT strategy and budget planning, ensuring our technology scales efficiently with the company’s rapid growth.
- Oversee vendor management and IT software and services.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of all critical IT services through proactive monitoring and disaster recovery planning.
What You’ll Bring: Your Expertise
- 6+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or IT management.
- Proven knowledge of IT security best practices and regulatory compliance, ideally within the FinTech, banking, or brokerage industry.
- Strong practical experience with modern network architecture, Windows/Linux environments, and SaaS platform management.
- Excellent communication skills in both English & Mandarin (to liaise with English & Mandarin-speaking teammates/counterparts) with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams
- and non-technical business stakeholders.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
