Product & Operations Manager (Fintech Trading, FX)
The successful candidate will manage the product pipeline, optimize execution systems and connectivity, and ensure the daily reliability of trading platforms.
This role requires 5-7 years of practical experience in financial services operations, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to interface effectively with Engineering, Compliance, and external partners.
Core Responsibilities
- Execution Support: Manage daily trade operations, including monitoring execution flow, order routing, data feeds, counterparty status, and settlement accuracy.
- Platform Expertise: Serve as the Operational Expert for trading systems, providing rapid production issue troubleshooting. Support platform administration (e.g., matching engine, MetaTrader) and liquidity bridge systems.
- FX Product Lifecycle: Support the full product lifecycle: requirements, UAT, deployment, and post-launch monitoring. Assist in implementing new instruments and features.
- Connectivity: Monitor and maintain upstream integrations with liquidity providers. Work with technical teams to ensure reliable FIX protocol integrity and execution quality.
- Risk & Controls: Review workflows for efficiency and error reduction.
- Draft and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for execution, reporting, and incident management. Support internal controls and reconciliation.
- Stakeholder Interaction: Collaborate with Governance/Legal for regulatory compliance and liaise with technology partners/vendors.
Requirements & Technical Competencies
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in financial services operations, trading support, or platform support (OTC or margin-traded products).
- Track Record: Experience supporting a high-speed execution desk within a brokerage or financial institution.
- Technical: MT5. PrimeXM (XCore), OZ Hub, or similar platforms. Practical experience with trading platform administration, liquidity bridge systems, and FIX protocol messaging. Knowledge of order types, margining, pricing, and risk fundamentals.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams, manage task prioritization, and communicate effectively.
