We are looking for a strategic Finance Leader to join the leadership team and own the financial integrity of the multi-asset ecosystem. You will be scaling the financial infrastructure for a diverse group of companies covering everything from Web3 and digital assets to traditional brokerage and marketing. You will be the architect of the consolidation engine, ensuring various entities—including registered broker-dealers—operate with precision and remain ahead of the regulatory curve.
What You’ll Tackle
- Entity Orchestration: Synchronize the financial reporting and consolidation for a complex portfolio of crypto-native and traditional finance businesses.
- Regulatory Shield: Act as the lead navigator for all external audits and regulatory inquiries, maintaining gold-standard relationships with state and federal authorities.
- Workflow Optimization: Modernize finance tech stack and internal controls to drive efficiency and eliminate manual friction.
- Strategic Close: Own the parent-level consolidation process, ensuring reporting is not only accurate but provides a clear narrative for the global headquarters.
- People Growth: Manage and inspire a team of accounting and FP&A specialists, building a high-performance culture that values professional development.
- Operational Connectivity: Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate financial strategy into the DNA of the company’s broader projects.
What You Bring
- The Experience: 8+ years of deep-bench experience in the brokerage, futures, or cryptocurrency space.
- Asset Fluency: Comprehensive knowledge of the mechanics behind equities, futures, and digital assets.
- Systems Thinker: You understand how sub-ledgers and interrelated systems feed into the main accounting reporting system and how to fix them when they don’t.
- Leadership Presence: Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team and influence stakeholders at the HQ level.
- The Basics: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Finance/Accounting/Economics) is advantageous.
