We’re partnering with one of the fastest-growing AI startups globally, already serving millions of users in their first year. They’re building a new category of AI-native products, combining cutting-edge generative models with beautifully designed consumer experiences used by millions of people every day. With a small, high-agency engineering team operating at a global scale, they’re now looking for Senior / Staff Engineers to help build the core infrastructure and product systems powering the next phase of growth.
This is a rare opportunity to work on AI products used by tens of millions of people, solving problems across distributed systems, GPU infrastructure, real-time experiences, and consumer product engineering.
About The Role
As one of the early engineers on the team, you’ll take ownership of core product and infrastructure systems as the platform scales from millions to hundreds of millions of users.
You’ll work across the stack, partnering closely with product and design to ship high-quality experiences at speed while solving complex technical challenges behind the scenes.
This is a role for engineers who thrive in high-ownership environments, enjoy solving real problems at scale, and want to build products that people genuinely love.
Examples of the types of challenges you might tackle:
- Building real-time AI experiences, such as low-latency video and interactive generation systems
- Orchestrating large-scale infrastructure to support millions of AI generations per day
- Deploying and productionizing custom models and LoRAs used by millions of users
- Designing highly scalable backend systems supporting global consumer traffic
- Building elegant web applications powering the core user experience
What You’ll Do
- Own systems end-to-end: Design, build, and operate core product and infrastructure components across the stack.
- Move fast and ship often: Prototype quickly, iterate based on real user feedback, and continuously improve the product.
- Solve problems at scale: Build reliable systems that handle millions of users and large-scale AI workloads.
- Collaborate across disciplines: Work closely with product, design, and the broader engineering team to bring ambitious ideas to life.
- Shape the engineering culture: As part of a small, high-impact team, you’ll help define how the company builds, ships, and scales software.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience building and shipping production software
- Strong experience with TypeScript / JavaScript ecosystems
- Experience building scalable backend services and distributed systems
- Familiarity with modern web stacks (Next.js, React, APIs, databases)
- Comfortable working across the stack when needed
- Experience operating systems in cloud environments (AWS or similar)
- Ability to take ideas from concept → production
- Strong ownership mindset and bias toward action
