Manager, Operations & Treasury (Crypto, Web3)

Role Overview
As the Operations Manager, you will:
Custody & Infrastructure Oversight
- Administer primary wallet systems and custody providers, governing deposit architectures, approval policies, and whitelists.
- Perform routine entitlement audits to maintain strict separation of duties and uphold access governance standards.
Fund Flows & Daily Settlements
- Oversee deposit sweep routines, ensure accurate sub-ledger balance allocation, and manage transfer limits.
- Resolve stuck or misrouted transfers and track operational velocity across liquidity routes.
Reconciliation & Dispute Management
- Execute daily multi-way reconciliations across on-chain wallets, third-party vaults, internal ledgers, and trade records.
- Investigate breaks alongside Finance, Tech, and Risk; drive root-cause fixes and escalate aged exceptions per SLAs.
Treasury & Liquidity Management
- Forecast cash/token demand, optimise buffer thresholds, and execute rebalancing transfers across venues.
- Track counterparty concentration exposure and notify leadership of potential funding shortfalls.
Staking & Yield Operations
- Oversee staking lifecycles (delegation, unbonding, reward claims) across third-party nodes.
- Validate reward payouts against external data sources and align accounting entries with Finance.
Compliance & Financial Crime Liaison
- Handle operational escalations for transaction monitoring (KYT), Travel Rule protocols, and fraud alerts.
- Execute wallet freezes, account holds, and remediation directives with documented approval trails.
Qualifications & Core Competencies
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, STEM, or related field, plus 5+ years in treasury, brokerage, or fintech settlement operations.
- Technical Domain Knowledge: Practical familiarity with wallet frameworks, multi-sig operations, and blockchain transaction lifecycles.
- Control Focus: Strong track record in daily ledger reconciliations, internal control testing, and dual-authorisation workflows.
Execution: Demonstrated capacity for analytical problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and vendor management under tight deadlines.
