Financial Market Strategist (Market Commentary, Multi-Asset Allocation)
Full Time, Permanent Opportunity in a NYSE Listed Financial Services Brand
Responsibilities
Public Representation & Thought Leadership:
- Act as the primary spokesperson at industry conferences, seminars, and media appearances (i.e. Online/TV/Podcasts).
- Deliver keynote presentations and participate in panel discussions representing the company’s market outlook.
Content Creation
- Translate complex macroeconomic data into engaging, digestible content for retail and professional traders.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to produce high-quality video series focused on investor education.
Investor Education & Outreach:
- Develop and execute a strategic “Investor Education” roadmap to help users improve their trading literacy.
- Write weekly market columns, newsletters, and whitepapers that reflect the company’s house view.
Market Analysis:
- Monitor global markets (Equities, Forex, Crypto, Commodities) to identify emerging trends and risks.
- Synthesize technical and fundamental analysis into actionable insights for the platform’s user base.
Requirements:
- Public speaking skills with the ability to command a room and connect with an audience through a lens.
- 5+ years of experience in market analysis, investment banking, or financial journalism. A deep understanding of technical analysis and macroeconomics is an advantage.
- Media Savvy: Proven experience in broadcast media, social media, or large-scale public speaking.
- Educational Mindset: A passion for teaching and investor education. i.e. You should be able to explain the impact of interest rates hikes to a novice.
- Preferably Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Journalism. Certifications are a significant plus.
