About the job
This is an opportunity for an aspiring/current Social Media and Content Manager to join a high-performing marketing team of a fintech brand in Sydney.
In this role, you will be the driving voice behind content. This is a unique opportunity to act as a true brand custodian—owning social media and external community channel strategy, localising global campaigns, and producing best-practice content that builds deep brand trust and audience engagement.
This goes far beyond day-to-day content execution; you will be responsible for scaling our brand profile and driving organic growth across Australia and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Ownership: Develop, refine, and execute a holistic organic and paid social media strategy designed to accelerate audience growth and engagement.
- Global Localisation: Adapt and localise global content to resonate with the unique nuances of the ANZ market, ensuring all output upholds strict brand guidelines and global best practices.
- Stakeholder Advisory: Act as an internal advisor on local communication strategies, interfacing seamlessly between local leadership and global HQ.
- Community Cultivation: Actively monitor, moderate, and engage with users across external channels to foster an active, loyal, and compliant community.
- First-Year Mandate: Elevate content quality and audience engagement metrics to measurably boost brand credibility, trust, and market awareness.
Requirements
- Proven Experience: 3–5 years of dedicated experience in social media and content marketing. Proven success in navigating a complex, matrixed global organisation is highly valued.
- Market Fluency: A solid foundational understanding of financial markets. Direct experience within financial services, fintech, or brokerage platforms is highly advantageous.
- Content Excellence: Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Hands-on experience managing active digital communities is essential; video and podcast production skills (or a strong willingness to learn) are highly desirable.
- Regulatory Savvy: A strong understanding of (or ability to quickly master) how to deliver highly engaging, creative content within strict local financial compliance frameworks.
- Education: A degree in Marketing, Communications, Arts, or a related discipline is an advantage.
Please take note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
